This framed piece of abstract fiber art was created on an old coffee sack as the idea of making use of the old and reinventing it really appeals to me. My inspirate for my abstract pieces are cross sections of geodes, like the ones that fascinated me as a child at Scratch Patch in South Africa.  The frame on this piece was found in a vintage store along my travels.
 
This particular frame is 41cm x 41cm, made using acrylic yarn, coffee sack fabric, and felt. As this is a made-to-order piece, no 2 designs are the same and this photo stands as an example only. All frames are thrifted or salvaged and are therefore, not identical or even similar in some cased, but available options will be shared at the time of creation.
